Is Florida about to execute an innocent man? Take action!
Florida is set to execute James Dailey on Thursday, November 7, but he – along with scores of legal experts – says he is innocent of the crimes for which he is on death row.
No eyewitness testimony or physical evidence connects Dailey to the crime, and because of procedural hurdles, the Florida courts have refused to consider the evidence of innocence on its merits. Hearsay testimony came from notoriously unreliable jailhouse informants who have since been discredited and contradicted. Dailey’s co-defendant has repeatedly confessed to being solely responsible for Boggio’s murder.
Send a message to Governor DeSantis, telling him that no execution should go forward with this much doubt.
It's really easy. Just edit the message so it reflects your views, then scroll down, fill out your information, and click send. The message will automatically be sent to the governor.
